Dear friends and family in Christ, we bless you in the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus! What a Faithful God He is. Seasons change, but He remains the same! We pray His best to you; He’s so good!

Yissachar led worship at SCA’s gathering for the National Day of Prayer, as well as praying. It so blessed our hearts seeing the students praise, worship, and pray to the Lord of all! Yissachar helps lead worship at chapel, and Steve preached recently at chapel at SCA about the love of Christ and the goodness of God! Last Sunday, we ministered at Celebration Center in Ohio. Our children shared prophetic art and prayed for the receivers, which was wonderful! What an encouragement to hear people respond to revelations that the Lord revealed during the sermon! After preaching, Steve called up those who wanted to flow in greater anointing. Jill and our children helped pray for those that came forward; it was a holy time! The Lord’s kingdom is advancing, and He has good plans for each of us!

We’re thanking the Lord for the new 40-Day devotional that Jill wrote: “Time With Him is Time Not Wasted.” It and other books we’ve written are on “steveandjillhill.org” There is nothing that compares to the Word of God, and we’re grateful for the Bible! May we be intentional to read His faith giving Word. And, thank you all for every prayer, act of kindness, and every seed you sow: Lord bless!

I find great strength and instruction in Jude 20-21, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, trust in the Holy Father looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” Rereading this after pasting it, the Lord highlighted some points in my spirit. How encouraging His truth is! Such love He has for us!

1. We are the beloved! 1 John 3:1-3, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” What a gift from God of faith to believe Jesus is The Way! John 1:12 shows that love: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
2. Praying in the Holy Spirit emboldens our faith! Acts 2:4, “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Being filled with the Holy Spirit isn’t a one-time thing, as these same believers get filled again in Acts 4:31, “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” 1 Corinthians 14:13-15 adds, “Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.”
3. Abide in the love of God! Jesus said in John 15:9-10, “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” 1 John 2:10; 4:16 confirms, “He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him…And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” This is a foundational truth to focus on: stay in His love!
4. Trust in the Holy Father! Proverbs 3:5-6 commands us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” No matter how much we think we learn and how smart we are, let us always lean on the Lord, not our understanding! “Acknowledge” means “to know.” Let’s lean into Him: we’re in relationship.
5. Look for Christ’s mercy! Psalm 145:8 says of God: “The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy.” 1 Peter 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” What mercy the Lord has given us: we’re forgiven! Ephesians 2:4-5 agrees, “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).” Hallelujah for mercy that gives grace!
We love and appreciate you, and we pray the Lord’s best to you and yours! His best is yet to be revealed!
Love in Christ, Steve, Jill, Judah, Yisaac, Jonah, Yissachar, Jakin, Yezekiel, Jerusalem, and Justice
