February 2024 Newsletter

Dear friends and family in Christ, grace and peace to you from Kentucky! We pray you are calling on Jesus, soaking in the Father’s love, and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit! I’ve been praying you would prosper even as your soul prospers, that you and your family would flow in the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, and that we would all be filled again and again with the Holy Spirit! I’ve also been praying for souls to be born again in your family, as well as mine! I’ve been prophesying when one gets saved, there will be more salvations like dominoes falling! Agree? Yes, Lord Jesus!

Thank God we shared at Vida Nueva, the Spanish service at CFC; so blessed to see tears as I preached! More came as our children ministered with prophetic art! One woman felt healing from pain in her back, and we’re praying for her spine to straighten totally! What fun to have a translator, as we’re excited about going to Manila soon! Yissachar helped lead a song that night at CFC!

Lord willing, the schedule below happens with us surrounded by the favor of God! His favor is around the righteous like a shield (Psalm 5:12), as Christ made us righteous! 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Saints, we should thank God for His favor and ask for it, expect it, call it forth, and receive it by our God-given faith! Our family is scheduled at New Life Church in Olive Hill on March 24th, and Jill and I will minister at ECC in Hawaii on April 7th! Jill’s never been there! Yissachar and I fly to the Philippines afterwards! Hallelujah! We’re scheduled with River of God Batac in Ilocos Norte for

the April 13 Soaking in the River and then April 14 for the Sunday morning service. On the 21st, we’ll be at two Manila River of God churches. More info by God’s grace of ministry during the weekdays.

Hebrews 11 includes a list of Old Testament heroes in what some call the Hall of Faith. The importance of faith is shown throughout the chapter, and here are verses 6, 11, & 27, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him...By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised...By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.” Like Moses, let’s seek and see Him who is invisible with eyes of faith! Our covenant-keeping God is worthy of being judged faithful! Let’s trust Him.

Hebrews 12:1-2 adds, “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Looking

(and listening!) to Jesus builds our faith, which helps us run with endurance. That is faithfulness!

I heard to remind you that you are His treasure! Yes, you. Jesus said in Matthew 16:26, “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Your soul is worth more than all earthly riches; He cares about your life! Malachi 3:16-17 records, “Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels.”” The Lord sees, hears, and loves you! He so loves you, He has good plans for you! Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Are we looking to Jesus? He gave faith for us to walk by! 2 Corinthians 5:7 states, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Living with heavenly vision, faith, shows a long-term perspective the Lord will work any and all things out for good for His born again ones. There is an example of this in nature: the eagle. They have elite (like faith!) vision.

An eagle's vision is exceptionally sharp because the cones in the eagle's eyes are very small and tightly grouped, allowing the eagle to see small details from extreme distances. An eagle can spot an object as small as a rabbit from a distance of almost two miles and pick it out from the background. This is a picture of faith, or prophetic vision. Isaiah 40:31 recounts, “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Looking to Jesus and His Word brings faith (heavenly vision). With our “faith” eyes on Him, we focus and wisely use our time.

Faith knows God has all authority. Matthew 8:7-11 is of a Roman centurion coming to Jesus to heal his servant, “And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’

and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”” Matthew 28:18-19 says, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and

on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the

Son and of the Holy Spirit.”” No matter what, the Lord has all authority. Let’s walk in it by faith! Amen.
