January 2024 Newsletter

Hello to our dear friends and family in Christ! It has been quite cold this month, but our God is a consuming fire! Our hearts have been burning in His presence! We pray His best to you! I was looking through my journal, and I read how there had been 101 souls that came to Christ in 2022 with CKCM! I was excited! I kept looking for 2023, and I found that over 210 souls were won to Christ in 2023! Hallelujah and glory to Jesus, our Lord and Savior! Thank you so much to all of you who partnered with us in prayer, seed money, and your love! What a harvest!

These pics were taken by CFC, our home church. Thank God, we’re part of the family there! The pic below at CFC blessed me, as the Lord had led me to write about “covenant,” which is first mentioned with a rainbow in Gen. 9. I was thrilled to preach chapel at Summit Christian Academy in Lexington on the 10th! Yezekiel and I loved seeing hands raised of those asking for healing for their hearts, and we prayed! Lord willing for future dates: we’re excited to minister Feb. 18th in Morehead, KY at Judah Christian Fellowship and then on the 25th at Vida Nueva, the Spanish service at CFC at 12:30 in Independence, KY! Thank You, Lord Jesus, for open doors! Jill and I will minister at ECC in Hawaii on April 7th! Jill’s never been there! Yissachar and I have tickets to the Philippines from 4-10 to 4-22!

On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit filled the 120, Peter preached, and 3000 were added to the Church! He said in Acts 2, “...let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David...being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body...He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne.” David prophesied in Psalm 110:4, “The Lord has sworn and will not relent, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”” Jesus is our forever High Priest of the New Covenant!

Hebrews 7 discusses this, “Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron?...For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness, for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God. And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: “The Lord has sworn and will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek’”), by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant...But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Jesus made a saving way to God!

The Old Covenant wasn’t everlasting. 2 Corinthians 3 and Galatians 3 & 4 discuss this, too. Hebrews 8:7-8, 13 confirms, “For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new

covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah...In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.” Hebrews 13:20 adds, “...God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood

of the everlasting covenant.” Jesus, our eternal sacrifice, paid our debt on the cross!

Ephesians 2:11-12 shares, “Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands—that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by

the blood of Christ.” Born again, Jesus has made us part of the covenants of promise!

Deuteronomy 7:9 proclaims, “Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.” There hasn’t been a thousand generations on earth, but Yahweh doesn’t change; He always keeps His promises! Yahweh is our covenant making and covenant keeping God through Jesus Christ! Glory to His name!

We’re born again into His family. Living by faith and stepping out in His promises help manifest His DNA inside us! Let’s live expecting His favor and Spirit to flow in our lives! 2 Peter 1:2-4 says, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” Now, His Spirit is in us! We also have become heirs to the promises God made to Abraham! Under His new covenant, we live by faith from Christ by His precious promises! This enables us to partake of and share His divine nature! Hallelujah!

Love in Christ and Lord bless, Steve, Jill, Judah, Yisaac, Jonah, Yissachar, Jakin, Yezekiel, Jerusalem, & Justice
