June 2024 Newsletter

Dear friends and family in Christ, grace and peace to you from Wilmore, KY. We now live one mile from Asbury University! We pray you are enjoying Jesus this summer, and may He use us all for His glory! 2 Timothy 1:7 reveals He’s NOT given us a spirit of fear. We should be on guard to NEVER be in agreement with that spirit, its voice, or the thoughts it tries to plant in us. God has good plans for us!

So great to be with the CFC family June 17th and then minister at the 12:30 Vida Nueva service! The Lord used us more in prophetic ministry this time; it touched my heart to see many hearts impacted! How thrilling for Jesus to give us info that we didn’t know and bring healing to His precious ones! The first picture is of the worship pastor’s daughter collapsing and weeping from the word from the Lord she was in a time of preparation like Esther before she was promoted to queen. She testified she had been discouraged from a challenging week, but she was now energized for what the Lord had for her!

We’re very excited to go minister at the following, Lord willing: in Morehead, KY at Judah Christian Fellowship on June 30th; July 7th in Missouri at Eldon AG; July 14th in Midland, TX at Harvest Time Church, as well as helping with VBS the 15th-17th; July 21st in San Angelo at New Mount of Olives Church, from the 22nd to 26th at Jerusalem AG to help with VBS, and then preach there on Sunday, July 28th! Glory to Jesus for open doors! We ask you continue to partner with us in prayer for these open doors to share His love, truth, and power! We’d love to see you at any of these churches!

Truly the Lord is exalted and worthy to be praised! There is nothing on this earth that can compare with Him and with knowing Him. The world can only offer “trinkets” that masquerade as treasure, but Jesus Christ is the true Treasure that fulfills our hearts’ desires. Who He is and what He can do is everlasting, never to fade away, and what He offers to His children is full, abundant life. The more we look to Him, the more we see of Him and His greatness. As we worship Him, our spiritual eyes are opened to perceive more of His glory, which makes us want to worship Him even more! We should do so, for He is infinitely worthy. We will be worshipping the Lord forever, giving Him glory!

As we worship the Lord, thanking Him for what He has done, and honoring Him for Who He is, we can experience His manifest Presence in a fresh way. As we spend that time with Him, He can speak to our hearts of His love, His ways, and He builds our strength. Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Faith comes as we hear Him and experience Him in worship, which allows us to have renewed spiritual strength for the journey we are on. Hoping in the Lord causes us to rise up high like the eagle, and we then “soar” above any storms of life! Did you know eagles have 20/5 vision and can see in vivid colors (that we don’t distinguish)? They spot prey

up to three miles ahead! When we’re focused on Jesus, we have a greater spiritual vision to discern beyond our current situation, through the lens of eternity. Our perspective changes to see as He sees!

His Word also changes our perspective. “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). In other words: God is pleased by faith. He wants us to believe that He is the God of miracles and the God of the “impossible.” We can walk in a greater level of faith as we read His Word, which is His manual to the world. In the Bible, we learn about the depths of the love of God and His truth (John17:17). One of my favorite verses is I John 4:18. Here it is in the New Living Translation: “Such love

has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.” That one verse dispels key lies that the enemy can blind believers with! Fear is the main tactic of the enemy’s strategy against people. 1 John 4:18 lets us know that God’s love is what delivers us from fear! His love carries great power.

Coming to the Lord as a child by simply believing His Word and spending time with Him allows us to “see” the Kingdom (Mark 10:15). Mary showed that in Luke 10, when she sat at Jesus’ feet, listening to His words, rather than helping her sister. Her child-like faith was commended by Jesus when He said, “Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her” (Luke 10:42). What we store up in worship and reading His Word will be our eternal treasure! Time spent with the Lord is never wasted time. In fact, as we seek Him first, everything else is added to us (Matthew 6:33).

Our prayer for you is that you will experience more of the Lord’s hope, joy, peace, and love in your hearts. May your family walk in greater awareness of the Holy Spirit’s leading in their lives, causing them to enter His increased freedom and prosperity. May the Scriptures feed your very soul His words of truth that bring His abundant life! As you “cast your cares on Him for He cares for you,”

may you freely experience His joy that spreads to those around you. This world needs Jesus; as you feed on God’s Word, you can share heavenly manna with the hurting. You’ve got it! You’re anointed by the Anointed One living in you! We bless you in the name of Jesus, worthy of all adoration!

Love in Christ, Steve, Jill, Judah, Yisaac, Jonah, Yissachar, Jakin, Yezekiel, Jerusalem, and Justice
